Outlook global contacts not updating

It scans your contacts and makes updates based on information in the GAL.This is my issue: We are using Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2007.

You can add and manage your personal G Suite contacts in Outlook using all of the regular fields in Outlook's Contact form. Here, you'll find all email addresses, group addresses, shared contacts, and conference rooms in your domain. You can disable the synching or set it to prompt before updating via the Outlook Social Connector options.Even when you have it disabled, you can still manually initiate a sync for a specific contact. This will update contact information, pictures, phone numbers, etc. Now you have the most up-to-date information from Active Directory in your local address book. Under Send/Receive Groups, you should see an option to "Download Address Book." Now you will be prompted for a few options, and you can choose to update from the Global Address List (this is how your AD should push out contacts). I download the full address book and it loads for a couple of seconds. I open some contact which I haven't updated yet, click on update - it is updated. Also the Update button seems to have to do something with "Outlook Social Connector" - see the other screenshot I added?

  1. “The site seemed OK, but when I got into it I realised it wasn’t really for me, I was looking for something longer term. You couldn’t get into the site without handing over information.
